11-component, 14-element construction.
Zoom ratio, 1 : 5. Zooming by rotation of
lens barrel. Zoom range can be extended
to super-telephoto (15.6-78mm) with op­
tional Tele-Converter.
Viewfinder: Single-lens reflex type, combined
with built-in prism screen rangefinder. Con­
tains aperture scale and over/under exposure
warning marks. Eyepiece adjustable to
eyesight of photographer.
EE Mechanism : Automatic aperture setting
coupled to film speed and filming speed.
Aim camera at subject for correct exposure.
Exposure Meter : Through-the-lens system CdS
meter measures light passing through taking
lens. Powered by two 1.3 v M20 (#625,
Ml-D or TH-MC) mercury batteries.
Light Measuring Range: The entire range
between ASA 200 f/1.8 at 18 fps and ASA
16 f/16 at SLOW MOTION (approx. 35 fps).
Film Speed : Automatically set with insertion
of film cartridge. ASA 16-200(DIN 13-24).
Filming Speed : 18 fps and SLOW MOTION.
Shutter Release : Released by turning the shut­
ter lock dial ^nd pulling the trigger.
