Press the shutter release lever to begin film
ing.
Use the same filming speed for fade-
out and fade-in in lap dissolve shooting.

Continue filming while you push the fade lever
up to the lap dissolve symbol and push in the
lap dissolve button in the center of the shutter
angle dial. Once this button is pressed, the
automatic
lap
dissolve
function
takes
over,
and you should remove your finger from the
shutter
release
lever.
When
the
dissolve
portion
has
been
completed,
the film
auto
matically rewinds and stops in position for the
beginning of the next scene, which will be
overlapped. DO NOT press the shutter release
lever
while
the film
is
rewinding. You can
confirm sound fading during dissolve opera
tion and before the start of the overlapping
scene
by
pressing
the shutter
release
lever
half-way.
5.
Press the shutter release lever again to begin
filming the next scene. The lap dissolve but
ton will spring back to its original position
when filming begins.
Note:
In sub-freezing temperatures, lap dis
solve with sound cartridge is sometimes
not possible because the film tends to
harden.
