To cancel the self-timer
• Turn the mode dial to a different setting.
• Do not stand directly in front of.the camera when
you press the shutter button as this will set the
focus incorrectly.
0 * For the last 2 seconds before the picture is taken,
the red-eye reduction/self-timer lamp blinks rapidly.
When the red-eye reduction function is operating, it
lights continuously for the last 2 seconds before the
picture is taken.
