Available Shooting Modes
Flash Mode
In the

modes, you can control the
flash output.

Flash Exp.
Comp
Flash exposure compensation
can be adjusted in the range of
–2 to +2 stops in 1/3-stop
increments. You can combine
the flash exposure
compensation with the
camera’s exposure
compensation function for
balanced exposure of the
background when shooting with
a flash.
In
and
shooting modes, set
[Flash Mode] to [Auto] in
advance.
Flash Output
The flash output can be
controlled in three steps, up to
FULL, when shooting.
In
and
shooting modes, please
set [Flash Mode] to
[Manual] in advance.
Red-Eye Corr. Automatically searches for and
corrects red eyes in the image
when the flash fires.

Red-Eye
Lamp
This feature reduces the effect
of light reflecting back from the
eyes and making them appear
red.
When set to [On], the
red-eye reduction lamp
lights orange before the
flash fires.
Safety FE
The camera automatically
changes the shutter speed or
aperture value when the flash
fires to avoid overexposing and
blowing out the highlights in the
scene.
