■ To turn the ringer off
If you do not want to be disturbed by
telephone calls, you can turn the ringer off.
Move the RING ON/BATT SAVE switch
to:
• RING ON to turn the ringer on.
• ВАТТ SAVE to turn the ringer off to save
battery power. In this setting, the
handset does not ring when a call
comes in.
Tbis is useful if you use this
cordless telephone as an extension
telephone and you can hear the other
phone ring.
Redialing
You can redial the last number called with
just one touch of the REDIAL button.
The number must not be longer than 32
digits (the tone and pause digits are each
counted as one digit).

Press TALK.

Press REDIAL/PAUSE.
■ To erase the last phone number
dialed
While the phone is not in use, press
REDIAL/PAUSE twice.
Memory dialing
(for SPP-72/73 only)
You can store up to ten numbers you
frequently call into the memory for speed
dialing. While storing numbers, you
cannot receive calls.

Press SPEED DIAiyPROGRAM.

Press a dialing key between 0 and
9.
You will hoar a confirmation bcvp.

Dial the phone number you wish
to store.
Do not enter a memory dialing number
that exceeds 16 digits (the tone and
pause digits are each counted as one
digit).

Press SPEED DIAL/PROGRAM
again.
You will hear a confirmation beep.
■ If you use a Private Branch
Exchange(PBX)
You need to dial a digit (such as 9) to access
an outside line before you dial a phone
number.
To store the phone number:
1 Enter the outside line access digit.
2 Press REDIAL/PAUSE to enter a pause
(to allow the phone time to access the
outside line).
3 Enter the phone number you want to
store.
■ To change a stored number
If you store a new number in the speed
dialing button that already has a number
stored in it, the old number will be erased.
Making memory dialing calls
1 Press TALK.

Press SPEED DIAL/PROGRAM.

Press the desired speed dialing
button (0 to 9).
. The phone number stored in the button
will be dialed.
