Using Your Camcorder Abroad
Each country has its own electricity and TV color systems. Before using your camcorder abroad, check
the following points:
Power Sources
You can use your camcorder in any country with the supplied AC power adaptor within 110 V to 240 V
AC, 50/60 Hz. Use a commercially available AC plug adaptor

Difference in Color Systems
This camcorder is an NTSC system-based camcorder. If you want to view the playback picture on a TV,
it must be an NTSC system based TV. When you want to use a FAL-M system based TV, you will need a
NTSC/PAL-M transcoder. Check the following alphabetical list.
NTSC system countries
Bahama Islands, Bolivia, Canada, Central America, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Jamaica, Japan, Korea,
Mexico, Peru, Surinam, Taiwan, the Philippines, the U.S.A., Venezuela, etc.
PAL system countries
Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, former West Germany, Great Britain, Holland,
Hong Kong, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden,
