Notes on the control and power supply leads
• The power antenna contro/ lead (blue) supplies +12 V DC when you turn on the tuner.
• When your car has a built-in FM IAM antenna in the rearlside glass, it is n ecessary to connect the p ower
antenna contro/ lead (blue) or the accessory p ower input lead (red) to the power term inal of the existing
antenna booster. For details, consult your dealer.
• A power antenna without relay box cannot be used with this unit.
Memory hold connection
W hen the yellow power input lead is connected, power will always be supplied to the m em ory circuit even
when the ignition key is turned off.
/Votes on speaker connection
• Before connecting the speakers, turn the unit off.
• Use speakers with an im pedance o f 4 to 8 ohm s, and w ith adequate power handiing capacities. O therwise,
the speakers m ay be dam aged.
• Do not connect the term inals of the speaker system to the car chassis, a nd do not connect the term inals of
the right speaker with those of the left speaker.
• Do not atfempr to connect the speakers in parallei.
• Do not connect any active speakers (with built-in am plifiers) to the speaker term inals of the unit. Doing so
m ay dam age the active speakers. Therefore, be sure to connect passive speakers to these term inals.
