The ignition must be turned OFF before installation.
1 Remove the left hand fairing.
2 For 2008 and 2009 models, remove the left inner panel above the ram air tube.
3 For 2010 models, remove the cover on the top of the fuel tank as shown in Figure A.
4 Remove the bolts securing the coolant reserve bottle to the engine as shown in
Figure B.
You do not need to disconnect the hoses. Just move the bottle out of the way for
easier access to the wiring harness.
5 Unplug the stock wiring harness from the throttle bodies as shown in Figure C.
This is a 16-pin brown connection.
