To remove a hard-disk drive, follow these steps:

1.

Disconnect the DC power cable and the EIDE cable from the back of the
drive.

2. Disconnect any external cables from the expansion card if one is installed.

3. Remove the expansion-card cage.

4. Remove the expansion card, if one is installed.

5. Remove the four hard-disk drive mounting screws that attach the hard-disk

drive to the expansion-card cage.
