The Simpana
software needs to
be installed or
reinstalled. The Simpana software
is preinstalled on
the PowerVault
DL2xxx system.
NOTE:
To reinstall
Simpana software on Dell
PowerVault DL2xxx system,
use the
Dell PowerVault DL
Backup to Disk Appliance
Recovery and Update Utility
(RUU).

Configuration
Wizard displays an
error while
installing
CommVault
Simpana. This issue may occur
if the Internet browser
(such as Microsoft
Internet Explorer)
is running. Perform the following steps:
1 Exit all applications,
including the browser,
before continuing with
the DL Backup to Disk
Appliance
Configuration Wizard.
2 Select Back to repeat
the step in the wizard.
