Replacing a BJ Tank in the BC-21e
Color BJ Cartridge
If you perform a print operation correctly but the output is blank, a
BJ tank may be out of ink. Perform the print head cleaning at least five
times. If the output is still blank, replace the empty BJ tank in the
BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge.
Leave the BJ cartridge in the printer when replacing a BJ tank. Make sure
the printer’s power is on.
❍ Use both hands to grasp the sides of the cover and pull it
forward.
❍ The printer beeps and moves the cartridge holder to the
center of the printer.
❍ The POWER light blinks while the cartridge holder is
positioned to the center of the printer.
Press the
CARTRIDGE
button once.
Open the
front cover.
