Condition Potential Causes
I cannot clear the
restricted keys.
• The key or fob used to start the vehicle
does not have admin privileges.
• No restricted keys are programmed to the
vehicle. See the Creating a MyKey chapter.
I lost the only admin
key.
• Purchase a new key from your authorized
dealer.
I lost a key.
• Program spare keys as outlined under
SecuriLock in the Security chapter.
No restricted key
functions with
intelligent access key
(push-button start).
• The engine recognizes an admin key fob
when you start your engine.
• Your vehicle’s system does not recognize any
programmed MyKeys. See the Creating a
MyKey chapter.
MyKey miles do not
accumulate.
• The intended user is not using the restricted
key.
• An admin key-equipped driver reset the
MyKey system.
