This section describes the installation of the E-flite ™ Mini
20-Amp Electronic Speed Control (EFLA105). If using a different
electronic speed control please read and follow the manufacturers
installation instructions included with your unit.
Step 1. Remove the canopy from the fuselage using a small
Phillips screwdriver.
Step 2. Locate the switch in the fuselage at a position that will
not interfere with removing and installing the battery. Cut a slot
for the switch to come through the fuselage. Use the switch as a
guide to drill 1/16 pilot holes for the mounting screws.
Step 3. Mount the switch using a Phillips screwdriver and the
screws provided with the speed control.
Step 4. Connect the bullet connectors on the speed control
to the motor. Refer to the instructions included with your
speed control.
Step 5. Plug the speed control into the throttle channel of the
receiver. Connect the elevator and rudder servos into the appro-
priate channel of your receiver.
