Specifications
The contractor shall install a single-handle wash machine shut-
off valve. The ball-type valve shall simultaneously control the
flow of both hot and cold water to the appliance and be fitted
in a decorative recessed wall box. The decorative wall box shall
have a provision for 1

inch and 2 inch (40 and 50 mm) drain
piping and a decorative cover.
The valves shall be a Watts Series 2M2 DWB Duo-Clozure
™
Washing Machine Shutoff Valve.
Pressure — Temperature
Maximum Pressure: 150psi (10.3 bar)
Maximum Temperature: 180°F (82°C)
