Matrix elimination with transfer procedure
This sample preparation technology is applied when the sample matrix
could damage the separation columns (and the analyte ion content is in
the ppm range).
For this, a small, defined sample amount is measured at the lower injec-
tion valve and is pumped with a transfer solution (ultra pure water) to the
preconcentration column at the upper injection valve . The sample is
retained by preconcentration column, while the matrix is rinsed into the
drain with the transfer solution. After a predefined time, the upper injec-
tion valve is switched to
