5 Click on Yes if you are using the already configured dosing unit.
The dosing unit will be automatically displayed in the Dosing units
subwindow of the Configuration section of the program.
NOTE
Check the Tubing parameters and adapt them to the actual
installation, if necessary.
3.4.2.2 Connecting to an 846 Dosing Interface
The Dosing Interface is connected to the power supply with a power sup-
ply cable and to the PC with a controller cable.
WARNING
An incorrect supply voltage can damage the instrument. Operate the
instrument only with the supply voltage specified for it.
Connecting to power supply and PC
Proceed as follows:
1 Connect the 846 Dosing Interface to the power supply with the
power supply cable (6.2122.0x0).
2 Connect the controller cable (6.2151.000) to the "Controller" con-
nector of the 846 Dosing Interface.
NOTE
The plug on the controller cable is protected against accidental
disconnection by means of a pull-out protection feature. If you
wish to pull out the plug, you will first need to pull back the outer
plug sleeve.
3 Connect the USB plug of the controller cable to an available USB
connector on the PC.
