4.3. Making the Connections
4.3.1. RAID Controller Port Assignment
The Quad comes supplied with a one port Quad Channel SATA II RAID
Controller, the Duo Quad is supplied with a two port Quad Channel SATA II RAID
Controller. Each port supports 4 drives.
For proper drive assignment, it is important to properly match up the
ports used. Please follow the cabling instructions in the following section
carefully.

4.3.2. Mac Connection
Connect the Quad or Duo Quad to the RAID Controller with the supplied
Quad Channel SATA II cable(s).
Mac Pro or Power Mac
Duo Quad: For proper drive numbering assignments, it is important to
match up the ports on the RAID Controller to the ports on the Duo
Quad. Carefully follow the cabling instruction in the diagram below.
