You’re building an access stairway for an
elderly client who can’t handle conventional-
height risers. If the total drop is 3 feet 8-3/4
inches and your “desired riser height” is approx-
imately 5-1/2 inches, find the number of stair
risers, actual riser height, and any overage or
underage remaining.
