1.2 General Safety Instructions
 Use only with appropriate DC input voltage and CA0011 power cable.
 Attempt to charge only approved batteries in this charger.
 Carefully check to make sure all power connections are properly insulated.
 Clean the contact area of the battery prior to insertion into charger to assure adequate
contact.
 Latch the lid in position after batteries have been loaded and charging is taking place to
assure that contact is maintained throughout the charge cycle.
 Prior to use, allow the charger to fully dry after cleaning or after contact with fluids.
 Follow all warnings and information on the power supply, vehicle, or other power source used
to power this charger.
 Do not connect charger directly to AC mains. Use appropriate AC-DC power supplies.
 Do not disassemble, mutilate, or abuse the charger or contacts. The charger is an enclosed
unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
 Do not immerse charger in any liquid/fluid medium with lid in unlatched/open or otherwise
unsecured position, as damage could occur resulting in charger malfunction or destruction.
 Do not reach into the battery cavity with metal objects (coins, screwdrivers, etc.). This could
damage charge/communication contacts or result in electrical short circuits.
