TUNING TIPS

Since there can be numerous variations in engine configurations, we offer these guidelines in tuning to get you started.

145" Engines

Main Jet Range - .068 to .078

Intermediate Jet Range - .028 to .031

Airbleed - .060

126" and 124" Engines

Main Jet Range - .064 to .074

Intermediate Jet Range - .0265 to .0295

Airbleed - .060

Our testing has shown that jetting the rear carb 2 sizes smaller in main jet, and 1 size smaller in the intermediate jet than the front carb is your best
starting point for tuning.

Open dragstrip use has also shown that plugging the bowl vent that opens into the air cleaner and removing alternate bowl vent plug has given
performance gains due to limited turbulence during these short high performance runs.
