6. Turn ignition key fully clockwise and listen for engine

to start. Once engine has started release ignition key.

Let the engine warm for a few minutes.

7. Place the engine speed control lever, (Figure 12) in

the

HIgH position.

8. The engine should be running at full RPM's
9. Let the engine idle for 3-5 minutes.
10. Repeat this section a few times to get fully acquainted

with the engine starting procedure.

STeeRINg

Two joysticks (Figure 14) located to the left and right of the

operator’s seat provide directional control for the trowel.

Table 4 illustrates the various directional positions of the

joysticks and their effect on the ride-on trowel.

1. The foot pedal, (Figure 13) solely controls blade

speed. The position of the foot pedal determines

the blade speed. Slow blade speed is obtained by

slightly depressing the pedal. Maximum blade speed

is obtained by fully depressing the pedal.

2. Push both the left and right Control Joysticks forward.
