Focusing
Focusing raises or lowers the stereomicroscope
using the focusing drive. The specimen detail is
brought into sharp focus as soon as it is in the
focal point of the objective.
★ The focusing drive can be operated either
left- or right-handed.
Focusing
★ The inner, coarse adjustment is used for
covering great distances.
★ The outer, fine adjustment is used for fine
focusing.
Coarse/fine adjustment
The sharpness is adjusted using the coarse/fine
adjustment.
• 2. The coarse/fine adjustment carries a
load of up to 15 kg.
★ The resolution of the coarse/fine adjust-
ment is 1 µm.
