★ Protect your microscope from moisture,
fumes and acids and from alkaline, caustic
and corrosive materials and keep chemicals
away from the instruments.
★ Plugs, optical systems and mechanical parts
must not be disassembled or replaced,
unless doing so is specifically permitted
and described in this manual.
★ Protect your microscope from oil and
grease.
★ Do not grease guide surfaces or mechani-
cal parts.
