Using the BF900
If you make a mistake when dialling, press the <
button to move the cursor back to the digit you want
to change. The selected digit f lashes. Enter the new
digit. Press the > button to move the cursor forward.
Alternatively, delete all the digits shown in the
display by pressing the CLEAR/TONE button.
On-hook dialling
You can use hook dialling to monitor the
progress of the call via the loudspeaker.
• Load the document.
• Press the
HOOK
button. You hear the dial
tone.
• Enter the fax number you want. The number
is dialled. Display shows the number and
PRESS START
.
• Press the
START
button when you hear the
fax tones from the other machine.
Dialling fax numbers from an attached
phone
You can use an attached telephone to send a
document direct from the document feeder.
• Load the document.
• Pick up the telephone handset and dial the
fax number you want.
• When you hear the fax tones, press the
START
button.
HOOK
START
• Replace the handset. Your document starts
to go through. Display flashes

and the fax number called.
Redialling the last number
• Load the document.
• Press the
REDIAL
button. Display shows
PRESS START
.
• Press the
START
button. The document is
scanned into memory and the number is
dialled.
One-touch dialling
You can store up to 32 numbers in the
one-touch directory. (See page 22 for how to
store one-touch numbers.)
• Load the document.
• Set the
TYPE ORG
,
RESOLUTION
and
PHOTO
settings if necessary.
• Press the
ONE-TOUCH
button you want.
Display shows the number stored.
For example, press once to display the
number stored under 05, or press twice to
display the number stored under 37.
• The document is scanned and the number is
dialled automatically.
