4 Troubleshooting
Your printer is extremely reliable, but occasionally problems may occur. This chapter provides information on some
of the common problems you may encounter and how you may solve them. If you encounter problems that you
can not resolve, please contact your technical service or dealer for assistance.
Read the following instructions before maintenance and avoid incorrect operation, so as to prevent injury to you
and damage to the printer.
4.1 Processing LEDs error
Phenomenon Cause Recovery
No LEDs on
Incorrect power supply cable
connections and power outlet
Check the power supply cable connections and the
power outlet and correct them.
The printer is powered off Switch on the printer.
PCB damaged Contact your dealer for assistance.
Error LED is always on and
Paper End LED flashes
Paper end Load paper (See Page 7).
Error LED flashes Print head overheated Do not print until the print head cools down.
4.2 Processing Printing Error
Phenomenon Cause Recovery
Blurred or spotted printing
Roll paper is installed improperly Check the roll paper and reinstall it.
Poor paper quality Use recommended roll paper.
Paper can not be fed
Paper jam
Open the printer cover, check the paper path and
remove jammed paper (See Page 14).
The printer is powered off Switch on the printer.
Horizontal dot line missing Print head pin damaged Contact your dealer for assistance.
