Transmission Oil
A. Transmission Oil Level Check
1. Check transmission oil level with engine at idle and oil at normal operating
temperature.
2. Apply park brake, shift transmission to "Neutral" and lower forks or attachment
to the ground.
3. Open the engine cover.
4. Remove the transmission dipstick (1) and check oil level. The oil level should be
within the HOT zone.
5. Replace transmission dipstick.
6. If oil is low, remove plug (2) and add oil as required.
7. Replace plug.
8. Close and secure the engine cover.
