General
TransferTip
®
MDS are capillaries for the aspiration of samples for microdissection in the
lab, and not for medical usage.

Safety instructions
• Read the instructions for use.
• Do not use when the package is damaged.
• Check the packaging prior to removal.
• Observe these and the operating instructions of the connected devices. The safety
instructions of the connected devices also apply.
• Only use capillary for the described application.
• Capillary should only be used by trained personnel.
• Be careful when removing and mounting the capillaries. Capillaries are made of glass
and can break and cause injuries when not handled correctly. Wear eye protection and
handle correctly.
• Caution when carrying out work incorrectly. Glass capillaries can break when they
come in contact with the surface and cause splinters to find their way into the eyes.
Use protective glasses.

Usage
TransferTip
®
MDS can aspirate liquid containing sample material for microdissection.
TransferTip
®
MDS can be mounted on the universal capillary holder (CellTram accessory)
or on the pipette of the MicroDissector using the grip head 0.
Instructions for the usage of the TransferTip
®
MDS are found in the operating instructions
for both the MicroDissector 5190 and the universal capillary holder.
