7. Platform safety chain

Inspect the safety chain to be sure it is present
and latches into place properly.

8. Swinging gate (option)

Inspect the gate to see that it swings freely,
latches securely, and is not deformed in any way.

9. Wiring harnesses and connectors

Inspect all the wiring harnesses, on the machine,
for loose connections, broken wires, and frayed
insulation.

Pay particular attention to the wiring harnesses
that are attached to the scissor stack.
