I NTRODUCTION
This manual covers the operation of the LX31, LX41 and LX50 Internal Combustion Work Platforms. This
manual must be stored on the machine at all times.
G ENERAL D ESCRIPTION

1. Platform
The platform has a reinforced steel floor,
guardrails with midrail, toeboards and an
entrance gate at the rear and left side of the
platform. The guardrails can be folded down
for access through doors or for shipment.

DO NOT use the maintenance platform
without guardrails properly assembled and in
place
3. Platform Controls
The platform controls contain the controls to
operate the machine. It should be hung on
the front, left, or right guardrail.

5. Elevating Assembly
The platform is raised and lowered by the
elevating assembly;
• LX31 - a three section scissor assembly
powered by one single-stage lift cylin-
der.
• LX - a four section scissor assembly
powered by one single-stage lift cylin-
der.
• LX50 - a five section scissor assembly
powered by two single-stage lift cylin-
ders.
6. Control Module
The control module contains the fuel tank,
hydraulic valve manifold, horn/alarms, bat-
tery, and chassis control panel.
7. Power Module
The power module contains the engine, the hydraulic pump, the hydraulic reservoir.
8. Chassis
The chassis is a structural frame that supports all the components of the Work Platform.
