3) Remove the factory track bar. Use a T-55 torx bit for removal at the axle, 15mm / 18mm socket or
wrenches will be needed for removal at the frame.
4) Install the new Synergy adjustable track bar with the bushing at the frame side and the zerk fitting
pointed down as shown in the image below.
5) Install the ½-13 UNC bolt provided in the kit as shown above. Use a washer under both the bolt head
and stover nut as pictured. Torque to 80 ft-lbs.
6) Install the other ½-13 UNC bolt provided in the kit and install at the axle. Again, use a washer under
both the bolt head and stover nut. It helps to have someone push the chassis side to side to help align the
TB with the hole in the bracket. Torque bolt to 80-ft-lbs
7) With the vehicle sitting level at ride height, center the axle by turning the adjuster sleeve. Counter
clockwise will extend the track bar. Use a ¼” punch or similar tool to turn the adjuster sleeve. Once the
axle is centered, tighten the pinch bolt to 80 ft-lbs.
8) Grease the polyurethane frame bushing with quality automotive chassis grease through the zerk fitting.
