To test the function of the Stabil-TRAK system, read the Stabil-TRAK System Test
Instructions on this page and follow Steps 1 through 9 of the Stabil-TRAK System
Test Procedures.
Stabil-TRAKô System Test Instructions
ï Test the Stabil-TRAK system with the vehicle on a level surface.
ï Remove any attachment from the quick attach before performing the test.
ï DO NOT extend the boom at any time during the test. Perform the test with
the boom fully retracted.
ï DO NOT transfer the carriage forward any time during the test. Keep the
transfer carriage in the fully retracted position.
ï DO NOT raise the boom above 60 for Steps 3 through 6.
ï DO NOT raise the boom above 45 for Steps 7 through 9.
ï Follow Steps 1 through 9 of the Stabil-TRAK system test procedure exactly
as written.
IMPORTANT! If the Stabil-TRAK lock light goes OFF and the front left tire lowers to
the ground at any time during Steps 4 through 7, the test was not performed properly
or the Stabil-TRAK system is not functioning properly. Carefully repeat the steps
starting with Step 1.
If the Stabil-TRAK lock light goes OFF and the front left tire lowers to the ground
consistently during Steps 4 through 7, the Stabil-TRAK system is not functioning
properly and the test should be stopped immediately. Contact your local Lull
Distributor immediately to repair the system.
IMPORTANT! Be sure the transmission disconnect system switch is DEACTIVATED
BEFORE the Stabil-TRAK System test is started, and remains deactivated during
the entire test.
NOTE: The front left tire off of the ground during the test is a visible indication that
the stability system is in the locked mode.

DO NOT operate this vehicle unless you are in the
seat with the seat belt fastened around you. Death or serious personal
injury could result if the belt is not securely fastened.
