Specifying Colors Using the PANTONE Color Picker
In some application programs, you can use PANTONE
®
Color Picker to specify PANTONE
®
colors, often used in producing professionally printed documents. In these applications,
PANTONE
®
Color Picker is automatically launched when a new color needs to be specified.
When PANTONE
®
Color Picker is launched, you select a color by clicking a PANTONE
®
color,
or typing a PANTONE
®
number in the text box, and clicking OK.
Using ColorSync
ColorSync is Apple’s unique color-matching software that ensures the most accurate color
possible from input (scanner or camera) to display, and display to output (printer).
See Mac OS Help for information about color accuracy and ColorSync.
