Telling your computer to use the Color StyleWriter Pro
Before using your printer, you must select it in the Chooser.
Before you begin
Make sure the printer is plugged in, your computer is turned
on, and the printer is connected to your Macintosh.

Select the Chooser from the Apple (
K
) menu.

Click items in the Chooser as follows:

Close the Chooser by clicking its close box (in the top-left corner).
Trying out the printer and aligning the print head
The best way to see if your printer is set up correctly is to try printing
something. The following steps describe how to print the Read Me file on the
Color StyleWriter Pro Installation disk, but you can print any document you
want.
Note: The first time you print anything on the Color StyleWriter Pro, it prints
a test sheet so you can check how the printer is aligned. The following steps
explain how this works.
Before you begin
Return to the Finder by quitting any programs you’re running.

Insert the
Color StyleWriter Pro Installation disk into a floppy disk drive.
The disk’s icon appears on the desktop, as shown in the next step.
