To be sure that the computer isn’t using the module, wait 5 seconds after quitting programs
and ejecting a disk before you remove the module.

Pull the expansion bay release lever to eject the module.
When the lever is completely extended, the module will be partially out of the expansion bay.

Gently slide the expansion bay module out of the computer.
Important
If you see a message telling you to reinsert the module, the module is still in
use. Reinsert the module and repeat step 2.
