1. Assemble the components together. See Fig. 12.
The regulator must always be mounted so its vent,
regardless of location on the regulator, is always
pointed downward. If the regulator is vented outside,
venting must be directed down. Ensure hose is
positioned away from the heater.
2. Tighten all connections securely and check for gas
leaks.

Assemble the strips and insert into last tube. Edge of strip
is flush with end of tube. See Fig.9. Refer to Fig.10 for
installation of flapper.

Assemble the tee, nipple, and cap to the nipple at the gas
inlet of heater. See Fig. 11. Tighten securely. The sediment
trap assembly must always be mounted in a vertical
position. Check all connections for gas leaks using
approved gas leak detectors.

PUSH THE CAP FIRMLY ONTO END OF
OVAL TUBE, UNTIL TUBE HITS THE
STOPS OF THE CLAMP. TIGHTEN
CLAMP SCREWS SECURELY.
