LED lamp on the Brother TD-4000/4100N indicates the current operating condition.
Lamp Condition
Not lit
Power is OFF.
Green lamp is lit
Power is ON.
Green lamp is flashing
Receiving the data from PC.
Orange lamp is lit
The roll cover is opened.
(Close the roll cover properly.)
Orange lamp is flashing
Cooling
(Wait for temperature of print head to lower)
Red lamp is lit Activating the boot.
The program is not accurate.
(Please update the program correctly.)
Red lamp is flashing
Indicates one of the following errors.
• Label sensor error (End of RD Roll or label jam)
• Incorrect RD Roll installed
• Transmission error
