Idle mode screen
Idle screen icons
Icons often shown on the idle screen:

• M555C offers you two different idle mode screens. You can
choose to show the time in numbers or in the clock format. To
switch between two modes, go to the menu:
Settings --> Phone
settings --> Idle Clock . See page 90.
• To set the current time and date and determine how they are
displayed on the idle screen, go to the menu: Settings --> Clock
settings . See page 122.
• You can have your name displayed on the idle screen. Go to the
menu: Phone book --> Own number . See page 74.
• You can personalize the way the idle screen is displayed. Go to the
menu: Settings --> Phone settings --> Display . See page 122.
• If you turn on the Privacy Code , then you will not be able to
access phone book directly from the idle screen. See page 120.

Signal strength of your designated network. The
more the bars displayed, the stronger the signal.
