Trafﬁ c information | SD/MMC mode

Notes:

If the volume listened to is higher
than the set TA Volume, trafﬁ c an-
nouncements are played back at the
volume listened to.

can also adjust the volume during a
trafﬁ c announcement for the dura-
tion of that announcement.
You can adjust the volume distri-
bution for trafﬁ c announcements
during trafﬁ c reports. For further
information, please read the "Sound"
chapter.

SD / MMC mode

You can play ﬁ les with music data stored on
SD/MMC cards (Secure Digital or Multi-Me-
dia Card) in MP3 or WMA format using this
car sound system. The operation for playing
MP3 and WMA ﬁ les is identical.

Note:
Blaupunkt cannot guarantee the correct
functioning of all SD/MMC cards avail-
able on the market and, for this reason,
recommends the use of SD/MMC cards
manufactured by "SanDisk" or "Pana-
sonic".

Preparing MP3/WMA titles

You can write data onto the SD/MMC cards
with the help of a standard SD/MMC card
reader and your PC.

Notes:

WMA ﬁ les with Digital Rights Man-
agement (DRM) from online music
shops cannot be played with this
device.

WMA ﬁ les can only be played back
safely if they were created with Win-
dows Media Player version 8 or later.

For a perfect access to SD/MMC cards,
observe the information in the following
table when saving MP3/WMA titles on the
SD/MMC card:

You can name each directory using a PC. The
name of the directory is then shown on the
display of the device.

If you like your ﬁ les to be in the speciﬁ c or-
der, save the ﬁ les on the card in the desired
sequence in which you want to play them
later.
