7.6 Cleaning the sensors

Clean the obstacle detection sensors in the
bumper of the robot with a cotton bud.

Clean the floor detection sensors on the
bottom of the robot with a cotton bud.
7.7 Cleaning the front wheel

Push the latch hooks on either side of the
front wheel retainer to unlock them (1) and
lift the front wheel retainer off the robot (2).

Remove dust and dirt from the brush strip
on the retainer with the comb end of the
cleaning tool or with your fingers.

Note:
The roller brush is not dishwasher-proof and not
waterproof.

Reinsert the square pin on the right-hand side
of the roller brush into the square hole in the
bearing block (1). Place the other end of the
roller brush in the recess (2).

Note:
You can find the cleaning tool on the inside of the
dust container compartment cover (see section
‘Emptying the dust container’ in this chapter).

Note:
When you place the roller brush back into the
robot, make sure the ring is attached to the end
of the brush you insert last. If it is not, contact
the Philips Consumer Care Centre.

Place the roller brush retainer over the roller
brush (1) and press the sides of the retainer
home until the latch hooks lock into place
(‘click’) (2).
