4.2 Mounting the side brushes

Unpack the side brushes. There is one brush
for the left side of the robot (marked L) and
one brush for the right side of the robot
(marked R).

Align the holes in the centre of the side
brush with the half-round mounting pin on
the bottom of the robot and push the side
brush into position.
4.3 Removing the transparent
plastic foils

Turn over the robot and remove the
transparent plastic foil from the display (1).
Then remove the transparent plastic foil from
the infrared signal generator of the base
station (2).
4 Before first use
4.1 Inserting the rechargeable
battery
The rechargeable battery needs to be
inserted before use.

Place the robot upside down on a soft,
flat surface.

Remove the protective cardboard plate from
the bottom of the robot.

Align the latches on the sides of the
rechargeable battery with the recesses in
the side of the battery compartment and
insert the rechargeable battery. Press the
rechargeable battery home until it locks into
place (‘click’).

Note:
Although the rechargeable battery is partially
charged at the factory, you may have to
charge it before you can use the robot.
