You can receive polyphonic ringing tones using a multimedia network service.

Save ringing tones
Downloaded ringing tones are saved on a multimedia card (MMC) or memory
card. They cannot be copied to another memory card or backed up to the
phone memory. To use downloaded ringing tones, you must insert the
memory card on which they are saved.
Copyright protection
Copyright protections may prevent some ringing tones, images, and other
content from being copied, modified, transferred or forwarded.
Java TM applications
Your phone supports Java TM 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) , which is a version of Java
technology specifically designed for small consumer electronics products. The
phone includes some Java applications and games, and supports downloading
new applications and games from different WAP services. See

Instant messaging and e-mail
Your Nokia 3000 Music phone has full-featured IM (instant messaging) and
e-mail capabilities. With IM you can talk with your friends while viewing the
conversation. The e-mail enables you to access your personal e-mail account
(POP3/IMAP4) from your phone. Ask your service provider for details on IM
and e-mail.
