Chat session from the inbox view
You can only initiate a chat session from this view, if an active chat is open
or has been saved. See
for information on saving chat
sessions.

From the
IM
menu, scroll to
Inbox
and press
Select
.

Scroll the contact with whom you want to chat.

Press
Options
and select
Chat
.

Press
Options
, select
Write message
, and enter a message.

Select
Send
.
The conversation view appears with the contact’s name inside the input
window.

After your contact replies, repeat steps 4-5 to continue your chat session.
Quit chat session
If you want to end your chat session, perform the following steps:

From the conversation view, press
Back
, then press
Options
.

Scroll to
End convers.
and press
Select
.
Conversation ended
appears.
Save chat history
If you want to save your chat session (chat history), perform the following
steps:

From the Conversation view, press
Options
, then select
Save
