Playing DVDs
This label indicates playback compatibility with DVD-RW
discs recorded in VR format (Video Recording format).
However, for discs recorded with a record-only-once
encrypted program, playback can only be achieved using a
CPRM compatible device.
The AVCHD is a high definition (HD) digital video came
ra
recorder format recording high-definition onto certain
media by using highly efficient codec technologies.
“AVCHD” and the “AVCHD” logo are trademarks of
Panasonic Corporation and Sony Corporation.
About region numbers
Blu-
ray Disc Player and BD-ROM or DVD-Video discs are
assigned
region numbers according to the region in
which they a
re sold.

Playing CDs

DualDisc playback
A DualDisc is a new two-sided disc, one side of which
contains DVD content — video, audio, etc. — while the
othe
r side contains non-DVD content such as digital
audio mate
rial.
The DVD side of a DualDisc can be
played on this player
(excluding any DVD-Audio content).
The non-DVD, audio side of the disc is not com
patible
with this
player.
It is
possible that when loading or ejecting a DualDisc,
the o
pposite side to that being played will be scratched.

ratched discs may not be playable.

Playing discs created on computers
or BD/DVD recorders

recorded by the ISO 9660 file

played.

playable.
