■Adjusting loudness
Loudness compensates for deficiencies in the low- and high-sound ranges at low volume.

5 or ∞ to select “LOUDNESS” from the AUDIO MENU, and press A.MENU
(AUDIO) button.

5 to turn loudness on.
Loudness level (e.g., LOUDNESS:ON/MODE:MID) appears in the display.

∞ to turn loudness off.
■Using subwoofer output
Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400R) is equipped with a subwoofer out-
put which can be switched on or off.

5 or ∞ to select “SUB WOOFER” from the AUDIO MENU, and press A.MENU
(AUDIO) button.
When the subwoofer controller setting is S.W. CONTROL:EXTERNAL, you cannot
select SUB WOOFER.

select “PHASE”, “LEVEL” or “FREQUENCY”.

Only frequencies lower than those in the selected range are output from the subwoofer.
■Using non fading output
When the non fading output setting is on, the audio signal does not pass through Pioneer AV
Head Unit’s (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400R) low pass filter (for the subwoofer), but is out-
put through the RCA output.
When the non fading output is on, you can adjust the level of non fading output.

LEVEL :
+6 - -6
FREQUENCY : 50Hz - 80Hz - 125Hz
