■Chapter and Track Advance/Return
Skipping to the Next Chapter/Track.

During play, move the NEXT/PREV control to NEXT side once.
■Returning to the Previous Chapter/Track
1
During play, move the NEXT/PREV control to PREV side once.
You return to the beginning of the current chapter/track.
Move the NEXT/PREV control to PREV side twice in succession takes you to the begin-
ning of the chapter/track before the current chapter/track.
■Specifying Title/Chapter/Track (Direct Search)
Specifying Title

Press the numeric keypad corresponding to a desired title number when the disc is
stopped.
To select 3, press 3.
To select 10, press +10 and 0 in order.
To select 23, press +10, +10 and 3 in order.
Specifying Chapter
1
Press the numeric keypad corresponding to a desired chapter number during play-
back.
To select 3, press 3.
To select 10, press +10 and 0 in order.
To select 23, press +10, +10 and 3 in order.
Specifying Track
1
Press the numeric keypad corresponding to a desired track number.
To select 3, press 3.
To select 10, press +10 and 0 in order.
To select 23, press +10, +10 and 3 in order.

With some discs, the prohibited mark “
” may be displayed and operation may not be
possible.
■Disc Fast Forward/Reverse
Fast Forward

During play, move the control stick right.

Release the control stick at the point you want to watch/listen.
Playback resumes from that point.

If you continue pushing the control stick right for 5 seconds, the colour of the fast forward
mark changes from white to blue. When this happens, fast forward continues even if you
release the control stick. To resume playback at a desired point, move the control stick up.

If you fast forward to the end of a CD, fast forward continues from the beginning of the disc.
➲
Fast forward may not be possible at certain locations on some discs. If this happens, nor-
mal playback automatically resumes.
