■Switching the screen
1 Press the NAVI/AV button to select the display mode.
As you press the NAVI/AV button, the map screen of the Navigation System or the dis-
play of the audio are selected.
When the message “Please insert the appropriate disc.” appears
This will be indicated in the following cases:

When switched to the navigation screen while a disc other than a Map disc is set to the
Navigation System.

When switched to NAVI source screen while a Map disc is set to the Navigation Sys-
tem.

If the Navigation System, which can play DVD-Video or CD, such as AVIC-9DVD 2 , is
connected, when “NAVI” is selected as the source, operate again after inserting DVD
or CD disc.
■Displaying information screen
1 The operation mode switch is set to “NAVI”.
2 Press the DISP button and switch the screen display.
If you press the DISP button while using the navigation display the information plate for
source appears at the bottom of the screen. If you repeat this operation this display will
appear and disappear. If you do not operate for 4 seconds, information plate automatically
disappears.
If you press the DISP button in the screen of each source, you can switch the items dis-
played on the screen. As you press the DISP button, displayed items are switched over.

The number of switching over varies according to the source selected.
