After sealing the case, perform the following final checks to confirm
proper operation of the camera.
ț Push the POWER ON/OFF button on the case to see if it can turn
the camera ON and OFF.
ț Push the Shooting mode/SCENE button on the rear of the case to
see if it can switch the camera’s Shooting mode properly.
ț Press the Case’s shutter level and see if the camera shutter can be
released accordingly.
ț Press other buttons on the Case to see if the camera functions
accordingly.
Perform the final checks after loading.
When the case is used, the camera’s
Scene/Shooting mode can be confirmed
with the Scene/Shooting mode indicator
on the camera’s LCD monitor. Shooting scene/
shooting scene mode
: • If the camera does not function properly, restart the digital
camera installation procedure from “Check the digital
camera.” on page E-14 of this manual.
