Install Fiery Remote Scan
Before using the Fiery Remote Scan, install the program on
your PC.
To install the Fiery Remote Scan, the User Software
CD of the print controller is necessary.
1.
Turn on the PC to start up the OS.
2.
Load the User Software CD onto the
CD-ROM drive.
3.
Open [Fiery Remote Scan 5] folder on
the User Software CD and double-click
[Setup.exe].
The Setup wizard appears.
4.
Click [Next].
The License Agreement window appears.
5.
Click [Accept].
The Select Components window appears.
6.
Ensure that [Fiery Remote Scan Appli-
cation] is checked. Click [Next].
The Choose Destination Location window appears.
7.
Check the directory to save the pro-
gram and click [Next].
The Select Program Folder window appears.
8.
Click [Next].
9.
Select whether or to immediately
reboot the PC or not and click [Finish].
To use the Fiery Remote Scan, the computer must be
rebooted after installing the program.
