3.5.3 Description of the Device search settings dialog box (IPv6
multicast)
Specify the settings used to search for devices by sending an SNMP request
to all addresses belonging to the multicast group.

Be sure to enter settings for the items marked in the dialog box with an
asterisk (*).
Element Name Description
IP address settings of
search range Specify the IP address range to be used with the unicast search.
• Start address: Specify the IP address at the beginning of the
search.
• Exit address: Specify the IP address at the end of the search.
• Port number: Specify the port number.
SNMP V1/V2 search set-
tings Specify the name of the read community to be used with SNMP
V1/V2.
SNMP V3 search settings Specify the discovery user name and context name to be used with
SNMP V3.
