The initial window appears.

Below Device List , select the multifunctional peripheral written with
the application to be read.
– If no multifunctional peripheral appears below Device List , one
must be registered. For details, refer to “Registering a multifunc-
tional peripheral” on page 6-1.

On the “Device” menu, click “Open Device”.
– This operation can also be performed by clicking the [Open Device]
button on the right side of the window.
– For details on the Application Registration window, refer to “De-
scription of the Application Registration window” on page 4-7.
– If user authentication or account track settings have been specified
on the selected multifunctional peripheral, the corresponding au-
thentication dialog box appears. Type in the user name or account
name and the password.
